３本の稲穂で繋がる絆の輪

｢トラクターに乗る男前｣､略してトラ男。トラ男はお米の美味しい秋田県の農業の未来をつくる若手米農家集団です。そのトラ男が手掛けるコミュニティサービス「トラ男一家」のロゴデザインをさせて頂きました。

農業にはCSA（Community Supported Agriculture）という仕組みがあります。「コミュニティが支える農業」と呼ばれるこの仕組みは、地域住民が地元農業を支援するために、農家の会員となって代金を前払いし、収穫時に農作物を受け取るというもの。「トラ男一家」では、会員となった人に、定期的にお米を届け、稲作を体験してもらうなど、農家とみなさんが相互に支えあう仕組みを目指しています。

ロゴマークではこのコミュニティを記号化させることを目指しました。中心に配置された3本の稲穂はこのコミュニティの中心にいる３人のトラ男を表し、その周りに巻かれた縄はトラ男一家によって繋がったトラ男と会員同士のコミュニティの輪を表しています。結果として完成したこのマークはこの一家を象徴する家紋のような存在になりました。

A circle of bonds connected by three ears of rice

We are "Manly men who ride on a tractor," or Torao for short. Torao is a group of young rice farmers who are building the future of agriculture in Akita Prefecture, where rice is delicious. We designed a logo for "Torao-o's Family", a community service that the Torao man runs.

There is a system in agriculture called Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). In this system, called "community-supported agriculture," local residents support local agriculture by becoming members of farmers, paying for their rice in advance, and receiving their produce at the time of harvest. The Torao Family aims for a system of mutual support between the farmers and the community by providing regular deliveries of rice and hands-on experience in rice farming.

For the logo, we aimed to symbolize this community. The three ears of rice in the center represent the three tiger men at the center of the community, and the rope around them represents the circle of community connected by the tiger man's family and its members. The resulting mark has become a symbolic family crest for the family.
